Trash had been laying dormant for a while with no major updates for a number of years. I also love Alloy 2 and Ozone 5 which are such great plugins.IZotope have recently revamped their multiband distortion plug-in Trash in the form of Trash 2. they are a great company with very forward thinking. I like simple GUIs! Last but not least, Trash 2 also does Convolution, Delay and Filters apart from just providing saturation/distortion. which might work for some people but I have other plugins that can do the 'subtle' thing. What made you choose Trash 2 over Saturn? You will need the IR's to make them work.
The Expansions are not only presets, they also come with some Impulse Response files that make up part of the presets themselves. What are the Expansions? Are they just more presets, or do they come with more factory options that you can tweak too? iZotope was selling it at a cheaper price anyway. Yeah, I ALMOST bought Trash 2 used at KVR too but I knew that I wanted the expansions so I just bought it new from Plugin Discounts. I got the Plugin off someone on KVRaudio for $49, I hope it was a good deal (No expansions though!). No problem!
